is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholastics, leadership and talent in young women. Earn scholarships for higher education, personally develop through the DYW Life Skills Workshops, and make new friends from around the state.

Life-Changing Experience

College scholarships are awarded at the state level and millions in college-granted scholarships are available nationally. The state representative will advance to the national program for the opportunity to compete for cash tuition scholarships. To participate, you must be in your junior of high school. Participants are evaluated in the areas of: scholastics, interview, talent, self-expression, and fitness.

Administration and Worship Ministry Assistant - Currently, I work a part time job at First Baptist Church in Alexander City where I provide communication and administration support to the pastoral staff. Some of my responsibilities include managing our church's databases, coordinating and producing church publications, and preparing worship and media materials. In this role, I am also responsible for leading our student worship band. Member of J&K Band - I play the electric and acoustic guitar, as well as sing for the J&K Band. We provide worship music for Disciple Now weekends, youth church camps, and other special events. This has allowed me to lead worship in Tennessee, Alabama, and Alaska. Trinity Christian School Tennis Team - I am an active member of the Trinity tennis team where I am the number one female player. The past two years our girls' team has won our conference tournament. Farmhand on Family Farm - Our family owns a homesteading farm where we raise our own beef, pork, and vegetables. We also have a dairy cow we milk and raise chickens for small scale egg production. I assist my family in day to day chores and farm management.Breeder of Juliana Miniature Pigs - I have a small business where I breed and sell Juliana miniature pigs.Fisher Farm on the Go - My siblings and I have a small business where we take our farm animals to birthday parties and special events.Member of Tallapoosa County 4-H and the 4H Leadership Council

First Baptist Church Worship Team - For the past six years, I have voluntarily served on our church's worship team as a vocalist, guitarist, and pianist. Tennis Coach - Each week I volunteer to teach local children how to play tennis. I also assist with tennis summer camps.Farm Days for the Community - Our family hosts farm days for local schools and church groups.FBC Vacation Bible School - Each year I volunteer during our church's VBS assisting with tech, recreation, and 6th grade Bible study.Upward Basketball - As a volunteer for our church's Upward Basketball Program, I am responsible for the media production and tech support.
